After four months in Nashville, local musical trio the Foto Sisters have released a Christmas album titled A Foto Sisters Christmas. Available on all major streaming outlets, the album delves into both the sisters’ talents, as well as their Christian faith. To celebrate the release, the group is heading back to Baton Rouge for an event this Friday, November 30, in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church downtown. Photographer Lily LaGrange’s exhibition Split Ends, which consists of a variety of images shot in both Louisiana and Iceland over the last year, will be on display at the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge’s Firehouse Gallery through tomorrow, November 30. This Sunday, December 2, the LSU Rural Life Museum is once again ringing in the most wonderful time of the year with a day of 19th-century celebration at A Rural Life Christmas. From 12:30 to 6 p.m., the museum will showcase the simpler time with open-hearth cooking demonstrations, musical groups, storytellers, re-enactments, and an evening bonfire and visit from Papa Noel.
