The 2015 10/31 Consortium board members at last year's Black and Orange Bash

Celebrate Halloween early at the Black and Orange Bash

Autumn will be upon us in just a couple of months, and that means the start of the holiday season. Too soon for talk of turkey and mistletoe, perhaps, but not for a good ghost story or two. To make the wait easier, the 10/31 Consortium is ringing in Halloween a bit early with its annual Black and Orange Bash this Friday, July 29, at the Main Library at Goodwood.

Starting at 7:30 p.m., the event serves as a precursor to the Halloween Parade and Ghostly Gala, the details for which will be revealed at the Bash. Guests should arrive dressed in their black and orange best to enjoy food from All Star Catering, Jimmy John’s, Island Girl Bake Shop and Brew HaHa, as well as a cash bar and a variety of live entertainment. A silent auction, best dressed award and door prizes will also be part of the evening.
