Perkins Rowe Arts Festival returns this weekend

Art enthusiasts will gather this weekend for the sixth annual Perkins Rowe Arts Festival, presented by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge. The event will take place this Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 13, from noon to 6 p.m. at Perkins Rowe on Bluebonnet Boulevard.

Artists from all over Louisiana and the Southeast will present and sell original works of art including pottery, jewelry, woodwork, textiles, photographs, glass, paintings and more. The weekend will also include free children’s art activities, co-presented by The Junior League of Baton Rouge, as well as live musical performances.
