Baton Rouge Gallery opens three-artist exhibition

Three brings a crowd to the Baton Rouge Gallery’s latest exhibition.

BRG artist members Paul Dean, Heather Ryan Kelley and Kelly A. Mueller will have their works on display through Feb. 25.

Dean, a freelance graphic designer and LSU professor, explores the beginning of humanism and the god Ahuramazda through his mixed-media works in his exhibition “The Sky Is Thin As Paper Here.”

Manipulations of perspective inspired the paintings in McNeese State University professor Kelley’s exhibition “Lacuna.”

Mueller, the art department chair for Lusher Charter High School, collaborates with her brother using multimedia in the exhibition “Dog-eared Atlas” to show their solution to human impact on the environment.

All three artists will discuss their works at BRG’s ARTiculate Artist Talk on Sunday, Feb. 21, at 4 p.m. This event, as well as the entire exhibition, is free to the public.
