Gilded Artichoke Catering Co.’s Late-Night Wedding Snacks

Call them late-night nibbles to absorb libations, or generous send-off snacks, but a final nosh at the end of a wedding reception has become a thing.

“It’s just a very nice way to be hospitable at the end of an event when people are leaving,” says Lisa Boudreaux, owner of high-end caterer Gilded Artichoke Catering Co.

So, what to serve? After the luxurious tablescapes that typically define a reception, it’s nice to have something light-hearted and fun, like sliders and fries, Boudreaux says. These can be arranged on a separate buffet or as elegantly wrapped grab-and-go packages. The final flourish also serves as a parting gift, Boudreaux notes.

“It’s just a beautiful way to end things,” she says. “And it also keeps your guests from having to stop at Waffle House.”
