Grandmother’s Buttons, one of the most charming shops in St. Francisville, is gaining national exposure. Owner and designer Susan Davis was tapped by Anthropologie to design four pieces, which are now for sale exclusively on the retailer’s website. In particular, we love the Parisienne necklace (near left), which is crafted from etched cabochon pieces Davis discovered in a NYC warehouse. The trinkets were still wrapped in a 1912 Paris newspaper, endowing the creations made from them with an authentic cachet. View all of the offerings here.
