Register for the gulf south’s first major running event exclusively for women, complete with a wellness boutique and post-race party. Woman’s Hospital’s 5K, 10K and half-marathon races begin in downtown Baton Rouge Dec. 9 at 6:30 a.m. Unique to this event is the option for runners to choose the 10K or half-marathon distance, even during the event. So if training didn’t quite prepare a runner to tackle the half, she can simply turn north for the 10K course.
