Art, Wine & Design returns

The Southdowns Village Shopping Center is again hosting Art, Wine & Design. Merchants will be open after-hours to host artists, musicians and special promotions for those who go. The free event is open to the public and begins tonight, Nov. 6, at 6 p.m. Participating stores include Ann Connelly Fine Art, Bella Bridesmaid, LD Linens and Décor, Muddy Water Paddle Company, and more. Live art auction

Baton Rouge’s Premier Live Art Auction, KINETICS, is returning to benefit Baton Rouge Gallery tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 7, from 7 to 11 p.m. The annual fundraiser will showcase more than 30 original art pieces available for bidding during the live auction. Other activities or attractions include a raffle, the funky jazz band Café au Lait, and food catered by Stroubes Seafood & Steaks. Register for tickets and enter to win raffle prizes here.

Belly Up with the Bar

The 16th annual Belly Up with the Bar cook-off competition at Live Oak Arabians will offer attendees a variety of tasty fare. It’s happening tomorrow night, Friday, Nov. 7, at 5 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Baton Rouge Bar Foundation’s award-winning education programs for youth. Click here to find out more.
