Today through this Saturday, August 27, Ballin’s Ltd. is hosting a trunk show with Lafayette 148, where customers can shop the label’s fall collection. The store is also giving 10% off your entire purchase when you bring in flood relief supplies including clothing, toiletries and cleaning supplies through this Saturday.


The sixth annual A Mid City Night’s Dream takes place tonight from 5-8 p.m. This Mid City event welcomes visitors to dine, shop and mingle. Participating shop Time Warp Boutique will host its Fall Super Sale, with items marked 20-75% off; there will also be a $50 gift certificate raffle until August 28 to benefit flood victims. Sabai Jewelry Gallery, another participant, will showcase Joanne McMullen demonstrating “Creating with Wire Crochet”; hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided. Kiki is hosting a Rebecca Minkhoff trunk show today, Thursday, August 25, through Saturday, August 27, with Rebecca Minkhoff donating 10% of all sales to the Second Harvest Food Bank’s flood relief efforts in Louisiana.


The Royal Standard is still offering free shipping this week (through Friday, August 25). In addition, 20% off all purchases will be donated to store employees who have been affected by the Louisiana floods.


Article & Thread is supporting Baton Rouge this week by directing 10% of all online sales this week to the Baton Rouge Area Foundation’s Louisiana Flood Relief Fund. This coincides with the online shop’s Summer Mega Sale, featuring items as low as $14.99.


The Queen Bee is also collecting school supply donations and gift cards for students and teachers affected by the flood.
