Acadian Village’s annual Sip, Sale and Shop is happening tonight, Thursday, July 28, from 5 to 8 p.m. Businesses in the shopping center, located at the corner of Acadian Thruway and Perkins Road, will be offering special deals, door prizes, refreshments and more.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Library’s Recycled Reads Book Sale is back! Stop by the new, more spacious sale location at 3434 North Blvd. from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, July 30, to pick up a good read at a seriously discounted price. Recycled Reads accepts donated books year-round, and sales take place on the last Saturday of every month except for November and December.
The Red Stick Farmers Market is hosting its last weekend of the Summer Fresh Fest, with Everything Eggplant day this Saturday, July 30. Market-goers can find purple, white and green eggplants at Saturday’s market and can also watch chef Brant Palazzo of D’Angelo’s Restaurant lead a cooking demonstration at 10 a.m. inside the Main Street Market.
