Fest For All

Fest For All 2015, hosted by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, is scheduled for March 28-29 downtown. North Boulevard Town Square will be packed with a variety of live music, artwork from visual artists spanning a dozen states, kids’ activities, food, and more. The festival is also happening on the grounds of the Old State Capitol and the Shaw Center for the Arts. Fest For All annually features music styles of blues, jazz, bluegrass, Cajun, country, Americana, and rock.


Faces of Hope gala

The fifth annual Faces of Hope gala benefitting Trafficking Hope is scheduled for this Saturday, March 7, at 7 p.m. at the Capitol Park Museum. All proceeds help the nonprofit in the fight against human trafficking. Read more on the organization, including its founders, here. MPAC tickets on sale

MPAC is back! The event, hosted jointly by 225 and inRegister magazines, is happening Thursday, May 7, at 7:30 p.m. downtown. Camping at Highland

Pack up the family and get set to sleep under the stars without ever having to leave Baton Rouge. BREC’s Great Family Campout will take place next Saturday, March 14, at Highland Road Community Park. As the sun goes down, kids and their parents will gather to make s’mores, play kickball and football, and go slacklining.
