Lululemon, Currie & Bella Bella expanding

Lululemon Athletica is expanding in Baton Rouge, planting a second set of roots in the trendy Acadian Village shopping plaza and making neighbors with Trader Joe’s, Edit by LBP, and Baby Bump Maternity. Plans have been announced for the new yoga apparel shop to open next fall. A current showroom is located on Highland Road. In other workout wear news, Currie, located in Towne Center, announced it is opening a store in Old Metairie selling swim and sport apparel. Most recently, Bella Bella has invited its customers to shop the boutique’s inventory online.

Backpacker sale

The Backpacker is hosting its annual ski sale just as our thoughts turn to winter weather fun. Those whose Mardi Gras break plans entail heading for snowy slopes will want to be among the first 40 customers through the door this Saturday, Nov. 1, to take advantage of great prices: for example, adult ski outfits for $99 and youth outfits for $79.
