Behind the seams with designer Anthony Ryan
Baton Rouge’s own Anthony Ryan Auld has catapulted to fashion design fame, thanks to his appearance on Season 9 of Project Runway and a subsequent win on Project Runway All Stars. Now the public is invited to go behind the scenes with the designer as The Art of Fashion: Anthony Ryan opens Saturday at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum. The exhibition unfolds Auld’s design process from beginning to end, featuring sketches, photographs and more than 30 finished garments. A related exhibition displays the work of Auld’s colleagues from several Project Runway seasons. “The Art of Fashion” runs through March 30 at LASM. For more information, visit the website here.
