The Women’s Council of Great Baton Rouge held a tea May 8 for the 2015 Silver Magnolia honorees. The event took place downtown at the First United Methodist Church. Since 2004 the group has given the awards to acknowledge the leadership, dedication and service to humankind area women have shown.
