Associated Women in the Arts at Elizabethan Gallery


Elizabethan Gallery will host its 16th annual summer show featuring new work by Associated Women in the Arts next Thursday, July 23, with a meet-and-greet reception from 5 to 8 p.m. The theme of the show is “Hot Southern Summers and Fantasies” and will hang until August 29. Remember: All sales of original art in the Mid City cultural district are tax free.

Elizabethan Gallery is located at 680 Jefferson Hwy. Summer gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Associated Women in the Arts, founded in 1980, is comprised of professional female artists who specialize in a variety of visual art forms including mixed media and sculpture. The organization strives to create opportunities for its members to exhibit and discuss their work.
