This Valentine’s Day-themed fundraising gala benefits nonprofit Jump Start Your Heart, which focuses on protecting young athletes by raising awareness for cardiovascular abnormalities. This year’s event will feature live music, dancing, door prizes and more.

Anastasia: The Musical

February 15-17, Abundant Life Church

The young actors and actresses of the Christian Youth Theater will transport audiences back to the 1920s with the coming-of-age story of Anastasia. Performances of the youth-edition of this fan-favorite show will run from Thursday to Saturday.

Camellia Show & Sale

February 17-18, LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens

At this weekend-long event, guests are invited to explore and shop a vast range of camellias along with an exhibit of the award-winning flowers grown by the Baton Rouge Camellia Society. Attendees can also get planting advice from the Camellia Society members.


February 22-25, Raising Canes River Center

Through acrobatics, dance and more, the Cirque du Soleil crew uses their otherworldly talent to tell a fantastical yet vulnerable tale of Mauro the clown and his visions of his own death and burial.

Herb Day
