Celebration for Change | Manship Theatre

The South Central Louisiana chapter of Volunteers of America will host its 15th annual fundraiser, complete with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a look at the life-changing work helping the most vulnerable members of our community.

Hot Art, Cool Nights | Mid City

Take a stroll through Mid City for the annual spring arts and cultural festival spanning from Jefferson Highway at Goodwood Boulevard to the intersection of Government and 14th Street. Over 40 businesses and artists will team up for a night of creativity and community.

Main Library at Goodwood | Black & Orange Bash

Show off your best black and orange attire to celebrate the halfway mark to Halloween with the 10/31 Consortium krewe. This event will feature a silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, dancing and more.

TLSM Impact Fundraiser Luncheon | Renaissance Hotel

Discover the impact that nonprofit The Life of a Single Mom has on women and families in the community at this luncheon. Enjoy a three-course meal and see highlights from 2023, which was the biggest year in the organization’s history.

Bach to the Beatles: A Concert with Candles | Cary Saurage Community Arts Center

Attend one of the four performances by a quartet of Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra musicians in a candlelit atmosphere. Arrive early for pre-concert drinks on the Turner-Fischer Rooftop Terrace.

This two-day, family-friendly festival is a community-wide celebration of all things soul food. This year’s event includes a judged cooking competition, live music, local vendors and more.
