For Dr. Sheila Moore, the choice to go into the medical profession wasn’t one she happened upon. Rather, she says it was her dream for as long as she can remember. From LSU for medical school to establishing the St. Jude Affiliate Clinic at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health, Moore has spent her entire life in service to children with cancer and blood disorders. Now 81 years old, Moore still continues to work for the kids who need her most, both through her medical expertise and her dedication to her faith.
