As Louisiana trudges through the slump of 2020, many ears are perking up to the sound of social events. And what could be better than an outing (even with a pesky mask) after all these months? One with your four-legged best friend, of course.

This Saturday, September 19, BREC’s Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center will be hosting its seasonal Dog Day at The Swamp event. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., all leashed pets are welcome to explore picturesque trails alongside their owners. To encourage social distancing, additional watering stations will be provided for all the tail-waggers.
