A storytelling circus troupe is coming to town

Award-winning circus troupe Cirque Us is bringing its newest production, “Cirque Us Stories,” to Baton Rouge this weekend. The performance combines a storybook adventure with impressive acrobatics, offering a one-of-a-kind experience for kids of all ages.

Refuge Aerial will host the troupe’s first-ever trip to the Capital Region on Saturday, September 19. Named “Best Circus” at the International Philadelphia Fringe Festival, the production bridges the gap between thrilling athleticism and heartfelt theater. Audiences will enjoy gravity-defying stunts along with a riveting show of aerialists, jugglers, acrobats, contortionists and clowns. Performers bring world-class expertise to the stage, with resumes that include celebrated global entertainment companies such as Cirque du Soleil, Spiegelworld, Krystallpalast, AirOtic, SeaWorld, AIDA Cruises, Cirque Dreams and more.

The troupe founded in New England in 2016 has built a passionate following by creating sophisticated, family-friendly theatrical experiences. For tickets, showtimes and more information, visit TheCirqueUs.com.
