Companion Animal Alliance is inviting the community to pick up their racquets and paintbrushes this September for two fur-friend-focused charity events.

CAA, in partnership with Red Stick Social and Electric Pickle, is hosting its first-ever Paws for Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, September 12, from 7 a.m. to noon at Electric Pickle.

Pet lovers and owners can come out to shuffle their feet in a scrimmage, meet adoptable dogs, learn more about CAA and enjoy food and drink specials from Red Stick Social afterward.

And if you prefer a slower pace, registration for their Paint Your Pet event is now open. On Thursday, September 17, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Painting with a Twist will teach attendees how to create a portrait of their pet.
