For weeks the residents of Baton Rouge voted with 225 magazine for the best restaurants in the city, and now the results are finally ready to be revealed.

Next Thursday, June 30, join 225 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar’s Towne Center location to celebrate the winners with food, drinks, music and a first look at the magazine’s biggest issue of the year. This Hot Off the Press event will also feature passed appetizers, $5 specialty cocktails and a contest to win a prize package that includes a Drew Brees-signed football.

The event is free and open to the public, although all attendees must be 21 or older to attend. RSVP is required for attendance, with special VIP tickets starting at $25. The VIP experience includes access to a private area with samplings of Walk-On’s Crawfish Étouffée, Catfish Strips and Tuscan Chicken, plus complimentary cocktails.
