Sommelier: Graham Beck Brut Rosé

Time to locate your white bucks and seersucker suits and stock the cooler with Graham Beck Brut Rosé. Produced in South Africa using the French Champagne tradition they call Méthode Cap Classique, this rose gold bubbly is smacked with flavors of Rainier cherries, fresh crushed raspberries and citrus zest. Naturally inspired tiny bubbles burst into a lacy froth midpalate, delivering hints of brioche.

The estate-grown half-and-half pinot noir/chardonnay blend and the vintner’s skill combine to craft this crisp rosé. While the pinot noir creates complexity, chardonnay delivers a soft floral sophistication often found in Champagnes. Heretofore reserved for bridal showers, beach parties and picnics, rosé is now wildly popular in restaurants, bars and uptown garden parties.

Available by the flute at Bin 77 Bistro and Side Bar, Graham Beck Brut Rosé pairs perfectly with the Poached Lobster Tail. This pink lady carries the weekend on 77’s patio accompanied by a live band and surrounded by friends. Or take home a bottle for $20 from the Bin’s Wine Shop. Any time is the right time to bring out the sparklers.
