The Salvation Army of Greater Baton Rouge will host its annual Red Kettle Kickoff at Perkins Rowe on Sunday, Nov. 15, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The event will feature Sergeants Tyrone and June Rogers, celebrate the City of Central, the 2025 Battle of the Bells Champions, and launch another season of giving back to the community.

Attendees can take part in the excitement by dropping the first dollar into the iconic Red Kettle, adopting the first Angel from the Angel Tree, and enjoying festive music and hot chocolate. The celebration will take place at the Christmas Tree in Town Square.

Every dollar raised locally supports emergency shelter, recovery programs, youth and family services, and neighbors in need throughout Greater Baton Rouge. Families and friends can come together to help make this holiday season one of hope.
