Feast for the eyes: A non-traditional Thanksgiving table

Setting the Thanksgiving table doesn’t mean you are relegated to orange, brown and gold hues this holiday season. Fresh white pumpkins look perfect painted in unexpected colors and go well in any décor. It’s just a matter of thinking outside of the box.

“The white pumpkins are so popular this season that we could barely find them,” says Angela DiVincenti Babin of Angela Marie Events. “This look is perfect for homeowners who are a bit more contemporary but still want an organic feel for their Thanksgiving meal.”

Rustic elements lend itself to more casual dining in a more relaxed atmosphere. But that doesn’t mean that menus and place cards don’t have their place. Have fun with your color scheme and delight your family and friends with inspiring, and simple, design details that show you are thankful they are gathered around your table.
