An experienced biochemist, microbiologist and practicing ophthalmologist, Lili Fan is bringing Baton Rouge residents a skincare line with promised results. Luksus Cosmetics offers products for the eyes, skin and lashes that fight the effects of aging. The Ultra Eyelash Conditioner uses advanced technology to enhance, nourish and condition lashes while highlighting length, density and color. Also available is the Two-Step Dual Eye Treatment, which combines a gene repair serum to stimulate restoration and ease the appearance of crow’s feet with a collagen regenerating cream to help firm and tighten skin. In addition to her work developing anti-aging products, Fan conducts research projects at LSU’s Health Science Center. LSU graduate Andrea Roberts is making fitness family-friendly with prize money she received from the LSU Student Incubator Venture Challenge, a competition that provides entrepreneurs with access to resources and funds. After leaving the corporate world, Roberts launched FamilyFit Athletics with a vision of creating an enjoyable, welcoming fitness center. FamilyFit offers classes for adults and children, including strength, conditioning and sports performance.
