What to do next weekend: The Corbel Summer Art Show

After the Fourth of July, it’s hard to look forward to the rest of this scorching hot month. If you’re trapping yourself inside on the weekends to beat the heat, maybe consider taking a day-cation to St. Francisville.

From July 11 to July 13, one of St. Francisville’s home décor and furniture stores, The Corbel, will be hosting its summer art show. Several local artists will be on hand to showcase their work for guests to browse and purchase.

And to kick off the weekend, The Corbel will host an opening night dinner on July 10. The night begins with a cocktail hour and complimentary Champagne, accompanied by live music and the chance to meet the artists and get a first look at the works that will fill the walls during the weekend’s show. Following the cocktail hour, guests will be treated to a four-course dinner catered by Restaurant 1796 with wine pairings by Uncorked Nola.

Guests can purchase tickets to the opening night dinner online here.
