What to do: Local wellness events for women

The importance of health and wellness has become more apparent in our everyday life, but with an influx of information, resources and items for sale at our fingertips, the wellness world can get overwhelming. If you’re looking for a place to start, start small, and look locally for nonprofits, businesses and people that are easy to connect with.

The events around Baton Rouge below are a great place to begin, each offering a community of women who are embracing the wide world of wellness and all it has to offer. From healthy cooking classes to a spiritual weekend retreat in St. Francisville, take the time to invest in your health with the five events below.
