Baton Rouge Blues Foundation held its 2017 Blues Gala at the Main Library on October 1. The evening included performances by blues pianist Henry Gray and tributes to Silas Harpo and Guitar Kelly. Honorees included Slim Harpo, Larry Garner, Carol Fran and Henry Byrd Sr.
