#TakeoutTuesday: Southfin Southern Poke’s high-temp hot bowls

A Baton Rouge seafood staple, Southfin Southern Poké offers tastes from Hawaii combined with Louisiana’s Gulf Coast flair. Since 2017, customers have flocked to Southfin for customizable poké bowls featuring fresh fish, healthy bases and a variety of toppings. Lately, the restaurant has begun serving more than cold-temperature temptations, having recently perfected new menu items that kick up the heat.

Last month, Southfin introduced new hot bowls with shrimp tempura, BBQ salmon, seared tuna and fried chicken options, along with the shrimp tempura, teriyaki beef and snow crab nachos that deviate from typical menu items and offer a tropical take on the traditional Mexican dish. And let’s face it: we could all use a bit of a vacation right now.
