Dish: Mason’s Grill’s Triple Threat

In normal times, more than 1,000 patrons queue up for Mason’s Grill’s wildly popular weekend brunch, including faithful regulars chipping away at the behemoth menu. For the indecisive, the Triple Threat delivers three different Benedicts, each rendition more nap-inducing than the next. The first features a poached egg-crowned English muffin draped with cheesy seafood au gratin sauce. The second sees a topping of grilled Canadian bacon, sautéed mushrooms and onions, melted Monterey Jack, Hollandaise and fresh lump crabmeat. And the third smothers a Canadian bacon and poached egg-topped buttermilk biscuit with homemade crawfish étouffée. Mason’s ample bar serves everything from cold brew coffee to craft beers on tap to specialty cocktails, but don’t miss the Bloody Masons, which, like this dish, are available in a flight of three.
