Ochsner adds services
For thoseliving on the east side of Baton Rouge, they nolonger have far to travel for oncology services. Ochsner HealthCenter on O’Neal Lane is now offering a range ofcancer services such as chemotherapy, infusion and physician appointments. Patientsat the location also have the opportunity to participate inclinical cancer and pharmaceutical research trials through the National CancerInstitute.
Schwartzenburg heads

The new year brought withit an announcement of medical leadership at Woman’s Hospital. Obstetricianand gynecologist Dr. Edward Schwartzenburg has returned as chief ofstaff and serves
on the hospital’s board of directors. Servingas vice chief of staff is Dr. Jan Benanti and,as secretary-treasurer, Dr. Kathy Guidry.
