The grandeur of the Old Governor’s Mansion makes it a venue of choice for dinner parties, weddings and festive soirées. This month, it served as inRegister’s backdrop to showcase four exquisite gowns—fit for any Capital City evening fête.

The Old Governor’s Mansion, built in 1929 by then-Gov. Huey P. Long, is located at 502 North Boulevard. It boasts a massive marble staircase, historic East Ballroom, high ceilings, fine furnishings, and a quaint brick-paved rose garden.
